Rebbe Steiner Sajele of Kerestir studied in Liska at the home of Reb Hershele Friedmann, where he immersed himself in profound Torah knowledge and wisdom. His deep understanding guided him on his significant path of community service.

During Reb Hershele Friedman's era, Liska (Olaszliszka) emerged as a spiritual hub of Hasidism, attracting thousands of visitors.

Moshe Teitelbaum’s lasting influence.

Hershele's initial knowledge was acquired by Yismach Moshe, who was the Rebbe of Ujhely (Sátoraljaújhely).  Teitelbaum appointed Hershele as his successor, whose wisdom continues to spread across the world daily.
